Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE) has signed agreement with Masdar Institute of Science and Technology (MI)

 On January 21, 2014, Dr. Fred Moavenzadeh, President of Masdar Institute of Science and Technology (MI), and Ms. Masako Kishimoto, Vice President of JICE signed the agreement for JICE internship program for MI’s students. The signing ceremony was held at the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) 2014 and H.E. Nasser Ahmed Alsowaidi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (DED), H.E. Toshimitsu Motegi, Minister of Economic, Trade and Industry of Japan, and H.E. Yoshihiko Kamo, Japanese Ambassador to United Arab Emirates, were present.

 JICE internship program for MI has launched with great supports of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (METI) in 2012 to provide a field internship in Japanese accepting companies to MI’s students. With the aim of improvement and expansion of this internship program, the agreement further enhances the existing collaborations between MI and JICE. JICE will continue its efforts to make a better program with the cooperation with MI as well as METI and Japanese accepting companies.
