Japan Pavilion in Najah Exhibition 2014 at Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Japan International Cooperation Center (JICE) , with the support of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry(METI), organized Japan Pavilion in Najah Education and Training Exhibition and Career Fair in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), from 28th to 30th, October 2014.

It was the second time for Japan to set up its own Pavilion to promote Japanese higher education in UAE aiming at attracting UAE students to study in Japan. 14 major Japanese universities, Japanese language schools and Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) introduced their own organizations and activities at the Pavilion and contributed to raising awareness towards Japanese higher education in UAE.

More than 15,000 people visited the Pavilion during these 3 days and they acquired a lot of information about the universities. They also enjoyed each university’s seminars and the performance of animation. Also, the students of UAE national who are studying in Japan have explained their experiences to visitors. This exhibition has marked an important step to increase the number of UAE students who will study in Japan.

His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Social Development of the UAE and H.E. Yoshihiko Kamo, Japanese Ambassador to the UAE visited Japan pavilion and talked about studying in Japan with UAE national students.
