On March 21, 2017, a high-level delegation from China-Japan Friendship Association (CJFA) visited JICE Headquarters to discuss plans of cooperation in 2017. The delegation consisting of Mr. Yuan Min Dao, Secretary General, Mr. Zhang Zhen Xing, Managing Director, Department of Political Exchange, Ms. Zhang Xiao Ping, Managing Director, Department of Friendship Exchange, Ms. Pan Lin, Second Secretary , Embassy of China in Japan had a meeting with Ms. Sachiko Yamano, President of JICE and her staff to review various on-going cooperation programs between them and JICE and agreed to deepen cooperation in a bid to promoting closer friendship between Japan and China as this year marks the 45th anniversary of the normalization of Japan- China diplomatic relations.
