~Towards Bringing Japan and Sri Lanka closer Together~  JICE Hosted a Visit of Minister of the Embassy of Sri Lanka

Mr. G. G. S. C. Roshan, Minister of the Embassy of Sri Lanka, called on Ms. Sachiko Yamano, President of JICE on December 25th, 2018, to express his courtesy on JICE’s commitment to supporting Sri Lankan students under JDS (the Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship by Japanese Grant Aid) as well as the participants in the youth exchange program for SAARC countries under JENESYS (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths).

At the meeting with President Ms. Sachiko Yamano and Vice President Ms. Masako Kishimoto, Mr. Roshan appreciated JICE’s dedicated support for the students and participants from his home country. At the separate meeting with the staff in charge of student program and exchange program, both parties affirmed their wish to further strengthen the cooperative relationship between Sri Lanka and JICE in the field of human resources development.
