JICE Brought Two Consulting Companies in UAE Together to Join Up Efforts to Boost Human Resources Development

On November 13, 2018, JICE concluded the MOUs for strengthening partnerships with the two major Dubai-based consulting companies: OPIC Consulting & Training and Sadeem Energy;

OPIC Consulting & Training is engaged in human resource development programs working closely with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). As one of the Watani Al-Emarat Ambassadors “2020 Leaders” Program funded by the Ministry of Education and Watani Al Emarat Foundation, the company partnered with JICE to conduct the leadership training program in Japan for 41 UAE high school students from July 15th to 24th, 2018. .

Sadeem Energy, a sister company of OPIC Consulting & Training is a consulting firm specialized in renewable energy and serves as policy adviser to the related government entities.

In recent years, human resource development, especially for young generation, is one of the most important agenda of the UAE government looking ahead to the post- petroleum era.

The conclusion of the MOUs will usher in more strengthened ties among the three institutions specialized in the human resource development programs in youth leadership, disaster management and renewable energy which correspond to the UAE Government priorities.
