The Accounts are operated to promote understanding of JICE’s activities by sharing information on its programs, initiatives, and events.

• Comments that fall under any of the following categories may be hidden, deleted, or rejected in whole or in part without prior notice to the poster:

  • 1. Violating the Japanese laws and regulations
  • 2. Infringing the rights of the third-party, including patents, designs, copyrights, trademarks, and portrait rights
  • 3. Violating the terms of service of the platform in use

  【Defamation or Inappropriate Expressions】

  • 4. Contrary to public order and morals
  • 5. Promoting criminal acts
  • 6. Harming the reputation, credibility, or dignity of specific individuals, companies, or organizations
  • 7. Containing abusive, obscene, vulgar, or insulting language
  • 8. Posted by impersonating someone else

  【Privacy and False Information】

  • 9. Disclosing personal information without consent
  • 10. Containing false or factually incorrect information

  【Commercial Purpose and Spam】

  • 11. Intended for advertising, solicitation, or commercial activities
  • 12. Intended to redirect users to other websites without expressing an opinion
  • 13. Inducing users to harmful programs
  • 14. Posted repeatedly in the identical or similar content by the same user

  【Other】

  • 15. Intended to promote political or religious activities
  • 16. Altering all or a part of the information published by JICE
  • 17. Unrelated to the published information of JICE
  • 18. Containing any other content deemed inappropriate for the operation of the “Accounts”

• (2) Account Blocking

  JICE may block the accounts of the users who posted comments falling under the above categories as necessary.

1. Intellectual property rights for photos, illustrations, audio, videos, articles, and other content posted on the Accounts belong to JICE or the rightful owner.
2. Information obtained from the content of the Accounts is permitted to use, quote, or repost provided that the users indicate the source.

1. Although JICE endeavors to ensure the accuracy and security of the content on the Accounts, errors or unauthorized alterations by a third party cannot be completely prevented. JICE shall not accept responsibility for any damage arising from such incidents.
2. The Accounts may include the content of a third party or links which are not managed by JICE. JICE does not accept responsibility for any damage resulting from the use thereof.
3. Information posted on the Accounts may not necessarily represent official views of JICE. For official announcements, please refer to the JICE website.
4. Content of the Accounts may be changed, moved, or deleted without advance notice.

The Accounts may be suspended or deleted without advance notice. JICE and its staff do not accept responsibility for any consequences resulting from such actions.
